How you can pay
- Online, by bank card — Visa or Mastercard, debit or credit, via NETOPIA Payments.
- At reception, on arrival, in cash or by card.
The methods available for your booking are shown at the end of the booking process. We do not charge a fee for card payments.
How card payment works
- Choose card payment at the end of the booking process and submit your booking.
- You are redirected to the secure NETOPIA Payments page, where you enter your card details.
- Confirm the payment with 3-D Secure, as requested by your card-issuing bank (in your banking app or with a code sent by SMS).
- You return to the website and see the result of the payment. You also receive confirmation by email.
- The booking is confirmed once the bank approves the payment.
Payment security
- Payments are processed through the secure NETOPIA Payments system, with 3-D Secure authentication (Visa Secure, Mastercard Identity Check).
- Card details are entered only on the processor’s page. They never reach us: we do not see, receive or store them. We receive only the payment result and a transaction reference code.
- The connection to the website and to the payment page is encrypted (HTTPS).
- We will never ask for your card details by telephone, email or message.
Currency
Payment is made in lei (RON). If your card is in another currency, the conversion is made by your card-issuing bank, at the exchange rate and with the fees it sets.
If the payment is declined
A payment may be declined because of insufficient funds, incorrect details, an unfinished 3-D Secure confirmation, an exceeded limit or a card that is not enabled for online payments. The room remains held for 30 minutes: you can retry the payment from the booking page. Only your card-issuing bank knows the exact reason.
Refunds
When a booking paid by card is cancelled under the conditions set out in the Terms and conditions, the amount to be refunded is returned only to the card used for payment, via NETOPIA Payments, with no fees charged by us. When the amount appears in your account depends on your card-issuing bank.
